Hi, I’m just jumping in with a quick message today.  I hope you are all enjoying Halloween, wherever you are and I just got this tip from eHarmony Blog in regards to the Free eHarmony Weekend, that I mentioned the other day.

Tip: FCW participants cannot initiate, accept or reject FastTrack, so don’t initiate FastTrack with them this weekend or communication would be stuck.

Follow this link to the free deal as well as the promo code for a membership discount that you can use after the free weekend RedFlagDeals.com: eHarmony.com: Free Communication Weekend (October 31 - November 3).

I was so sure that I’d have a ton more men try to communicate with me on eHarmony because of this. Nope. Nada.

  2. You know, Darcie, I made a profile, because I assumed my boyfriend and I were broken up (we talked and are working it through) and I started communication with 5 guys. Nothing happened. No answers to my questions, nothing. I may not be the most beautiful girl in the room, but I’m sure no dog, so why no responses? I didn’t get any responses from other people either.

If Steve and I do break up, I won’t be going with eHarmony. There was a much larger choice of men at Match.com. Plus, it’s cheaper and you don’t have to jump through as many hoops.

eHarmony had me set up to match with men who were 40 to 54. I’m 42 and I have a 10 year-old daughter - what am I going to have in common with a man who is 54? That is a totally different time of life. Geez. And even though I changed the age limits, they did not give me more men to chose from. It said no more matches until I went through the men they matched me with. I indicated that I had no interest in those men. Still nothing. The entire thing was a waste of time and I won’t be reccomending eHarmony to anybody.

It’s interesting how some have such good experiences on eHarmony, and others not so much. You just never know what’s going to work.

  4. I think it has to do with the guys who are available in your age group and what is and is not important to you. The age matching - that seems like such old-fashioned thinking, like a woman needs an older man to take care of her? I’m not sure why they have it set up like that.
