Lumosity is a pay service, but there are also plenty of &lt;b&gt;free&lt;/b&gt; brain games on the web.  I&#039;ve collected a bunch of them on the Brain Games page of my memory improvement website: http://www.memory-improvement-tips.com/brain-games.html .  That page has about 75 free games on it.  So even if someone can&#039;t afford Lumosity or another service, they can still get a brain workout online for free anytime they want.
