Valentine’s Day is just around the corner! I think it’s fun for the whole family to share holidays together, so I’ve found a collection of different free kids crafts for Valentine’s Day. I’ve already got a pretty good collection of free Valentine’s Day craft patterns online already – but let’s have fun with the kids today!
My woven heart bag is a great project for kids – younger ones may need a little extra help though
I’d recommend using felt or another non-fray fabric instead of the fused cotton I used during the tutorial.

Family Fun has a free pattern for a cute little hand-sewn heart tote. It’s made from stiff felt (available in sheets from most craft stores) – and perfect for tucking something yummy into.

Red roses are traditional for Valentine’s day. Kaboose recommends using foam sheets to make these easy chenille-stem roses, but felt should work as well:

Amazing Moms has come up with this cute little heart pouch necklace. They’re small enough that your child can make them as gifts as well:

Happy crafting!

I love the little necklace. Think I’ll make one for myself. Why should kids have all the fun? LOL
