Jan Brett has a wonderful web site with many activities and print-offs for teachers to use in their classrooms and for parents involved in homeschooling and to encourage reading. Teachers in the schools where I substitute teach use Jan’s books and materials.

I’m not sure how I got on Jan’s mailing list, but for several years, I’ve been receiving post cards when she introduces a new book. These are delightfully illustrated cards with Jan’s wonderful art.
