My husband and I have been trying to conceive for a year, and found out I was pregnant in April — almost a year to the day when we started trying. Unfortunately, I had a miscarriage in mid-June, over Father’s Day weekend, which was doubly difficult because my dad died unexpectedly in January and this was my first Father’s Day without him. It made me sad that he would never get to know his grandchildren, so when I lost this baby my one consolation was the belief that our baby is with our loved ones who’ve gone on before us, including my dad. My baby was probably the best Father’s Day gift I could give my dad. It was truly bittersweet.

This baby will always be remembered, but we would love to have children that we can know here on earth. As difficult as it was to lose this baby, I count it a blessing to have even been pregnant.

As for what having a baby means to us? It means unmatched love, a joyful lack of sleep, a gift from God, more dirty diapers than we care to think of… but a miracle nonetheless. A miracle and a gift that we will cherish forever.

Having a baby means extending our love as a couple to a child. We understand that our lives will now encompass a new life and passing down our family lineage to the next generation. We know that the gift of a child comes from God and children help us grow.

My husband and I have a beautiful 7yr old little girl. We stopped using protection 7yrs ago and said when its time it will happen. Being a mother and being able to have a baby is a special gift and I treasure it every time I look at my daughter However, I would like to have 2 more children and I’m 36. I haven’t gone to IVF because of all the risks. We’ve decided to adopt our 4th child to change the life of a little one who maybe doesn’t have parents. We love children and hope to be pregnant soon:) thanks for the opportuntity ya
