Frozen Wine Is Tasty & Refreshing

A few weeks ago I wrote about Frozen Wine. You take a bottle of fruity and dry red or white wine and mix with it juices mixers and/or fruit.
This past Saturday my husband had a “Dad Only” poker game, so I invited the women and children to take respite at my home. We had a great time watching the kids run around from the ball pit, sand box and water slide while catching up with each other and drinking some Frozen Wine.
I wasn’t sure how it would be received, but just the mere mention of it made mouths water. It all disappeared in two seconds. Two words to the wise. The recipes use one bottle of wine so it only makes about 5-6 servings. I would definitely get several bottles or maybe even a box. Secondly, pay attention to the recipes. The wine choice makes a big difference. We made two batches with two different wines. I only knew they were Chardonnay, I really didn’t pay attention beyond that…and there was a big difference. So, follow the recipes and if you want to experiment, do so before the big crowd.
Frozen wine was delicious, a big hit and I look forward to the next party at our house.
