[...] Full Bloom Tea for Mother’s Day by Foodie Obsessed. I love me a good cup of hot tea. [...]
For what it’s worth, this company hired me to do a commercial for them, then after I delivered the work, changed their minds and went with another talent and never paid me for the work I did. Something to think about.
I am not surprised! Steve K is a crook with zero conscience.
Hi, I ordered from this company Full Bloom Tea .com and they took the money from my bank account and never delivered the tea. I’m planning to contact California Attorney General’s office. They have a consumer protection department. If this has happened to anyone else, please follow through. This company is obviously a scam.
FullBloomTea is definitely a scam. I bought a teaseat and they never delivered it and won’t answer my emails. Am reporting them for fraud.
Sorry to hear about all this. I personally did not have any problems. I checked to see if there was any other complaints out there on the web. Nothing yet, but I will keep checking things out. I hope you get your matter resolved.
Tracey that’s so great. Looks like you’re one of the few lucky ones.
Erin, I put a stop with my bank(no charge to me) and it prevents this fraudulent company from accessing my money again. Also the bank is making their bank prove they sent the product, which they didn’t. It might take 100 days to get my money back, but now that the bank is involved I feel less impotent about it.
P.s. still have never heard back from the company.
Best of luck.
I also ordered from them in early December, mid-february and nothing…
I also ordered Dec 7/08. Money was taken off my CC immmediately, but no product ever arrived. All emails, phone calls, faxes etc. have not been answered. I even told them in the message that I would be calling for a chrageback, and going after Yahoo Stores, and still nothing. Such a scam. Shame too because I really liked the look of the product.
You should also know, that the tea ‘blooms’ are sewn together by child labor. Anytime you order from a company with workers outside the US, you run the risk of supporting child labor.
I ordered from them almost 2 months ago, and I STILL have not received my order. My cc was charged right away, of course, and after the first e-mail I sent to them because I ordered a tea card to be sent to someone else and was not given a space to enter their address (when the guy claimed they e-mailed me already and that I must have done something wrong like deleted it), i have not heard from them. I have emailed them like 6 times now, and I called their offices twice. No answer, nothing. Very bad business, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME.
Today May 4, 2008 I recieced my money back from my bank on the Full Bloom Tea incident.
I disputed it in January and it took until now but I won. My bank took back the money and gave it to me. Finally, justice!
Good luck to you all. I hope you get satisfaction too.
So, glad to hear that Swooz. I hope that everyone will have the same outcome.
I originally ordered from them and recieved product. The second time they did not deliver on a $35.00 order.
They have the lowest possible rating from the BBB, which is an F: “We strongly question the company’s reliability for reasons such as that they have failed to respond to complaints, their advertising is grossly misleading, they are not in compliance with the law’s licensing or registration requirements, their complaints contain especially serious allegations, or the company’s industry is known for its fraudulent business practices.”
I never received my order, and had to go to my credit card company to get my money back since FBT would not respond. Looks like they are just out there to defraud people.
Yep, I’ve been duped…luckily it was only $6. I emailed 3 times, called once left message and NOTHING. Ordered over a month ago.
I was outraged by this company too. DONT USE THEM. I bought something a week ago off their site – received no order confirmation, no shipment indication as promised on their website. Went to e-mail them today – both e-mail addresses were listed as “undeliverable mail.” Luckily I paid with Pay Pal so I put it in dispute. THEY LIED and said they’d shipped my order Wednesday, but included a tracking number that PROVED they didn’t ship it until today after I complained. I demanded a refund and luckily got one. They’re not just bad business, they’re liars!!! STAY AWAY.
I wish I had searched for reviews about FBT before I ordered from them, but I didn’t and now I’m paying the price. I ordered from them for a friends birthday and even tacked on extra shipping to get it here within a week. I did receive my order confiramation, but no product. I have emailed them twice with no reply and in my second email I gave them 48 hours to respond or I would charge back the $87 they took. Still nothing. Now my bank is involved and I feel better.
Buyer beware! Do not use them. Save yourself the hassle.
It is really sad what a nightmare this has become for people.
Unfortunately I have also been duped by this site. I wish I would have checked reviews before ordering but same thing has happened to me. I reported them to the BBB and am going to call the bank today to get the charge off. Is there a way to shut these people down?
I got a gift set from my sister that FullBloomTea.com sent; it was late, but my sister said that when she contacted them they were cooperative and helpful. I ordered a present for a friend back in January. I now find no response to my e-mails, and their telephone number is “temporarily disconnected,” so I assume that they are going belly-up. I will talk to my bank about the money, but as it was a debit card I am not hopeful.
Hi John G, I also purchased from the site using my bank debit and I successfully disputed mine and the money was ultimately returned.
This is very important!! Call your bank today and start your dispute.
Although it will take some time to get your money back, the bank will put a block on your account right away, preventing Full Bloom Tea from using your debit number to draw out more of your money. Then when they prove your case with FBT’s bank, viola, they return your money. It might take 100 days but it will be better than being scammed.
Best!
