The venerable Consumer Reports has launched a new web site called Greener Choices. It’s a free guide offering reliable and practical advice on how to be a more eco-friendly consumer.
GreenerChoices.org offers info on a broad range of products, from electronics and appliances, to autos and food. The site includes information on large scale environmental issues and then connects those larger issues to the products that we buy. It also provides tools such as energy calculators, rebate information, food label meanings, and links to information about local energy and recycling.
