Generation Media Test
Despite the backlash of naming generations, I enjoyed Penelope Trunk’s post at Brazen Careerist, What generation are you part of, really? Take this test.
It uses technological indicators to assess your “true” age by how you use media.
I’m young again! It told be I was a Generation Y-er.

I scored “gen Y” also, even though I’m just a year younger than you are. The generational label people are missing the boat completely by thinking that our generation is not technologically savvy. We are the worshippers of technology and our children are the users of technology.
I agree with Cathy. I’m not quite sure who had decided at what age they think people are technologically ignorant.
I mean, sure my mother is a complete luddite like they describe people in their 40’s to be… however, she is 79, not 40.
Somebodies research is seriously off.
Generation Y.
I’m very pleased.
i think the people likely to look at this sort of thing are more likely to have the some-what tech suave type parents, though mine, however, are far from it. I completely see the curve with adults i know, but that obviously has much to do with the social class of the citizen. working class individuals aren’t nearly as associated as the blackberry toting businessman or the trio loving lawyer or doctor… especially when your life has been below the affordibility level of having blissful technology around you, where poorer people or simple people don’t necessarily surround themselves with expensive technology.
