Well done! I have to agree that I love the blogging format for several reasons. First is the ability to link to mutiple sources and previous posts easily. I think that gives a depth that a lot of more traditional articles are missing. I also really like the informal nature and the ability to inject some much needed humor into the genetics arena.

You know I have loved your blog ever since I ventured into the world of blogging and I hope you continue in your excellent work despite the short sightedness of *some* people!

Rick: You are so sweet! :)

Dan: I love trying out new ways of getting the message across. I personally like reading stuff but know that many people like to listen and see.

I think it would be fun to do a science blogging podcast. I'll send an email around to see who might be interested in talking with me.

First off - great job! You communicated clearly and sounded confident, making the points that you wanted to make.

Second, I can't help but wonder what podcasting will do for blogging, and science blogging in particular. Hopefully it will make the science and opinions more accessible, and be an additional tool for educators, students, and anyone else who's inquisitive enough to tune in. So kudos for being bold enough to give it a shot.
