Germs, germs, germs.

InsideMotherhood posted about an article she read on MSNBC about the 12 most germy places. It’s a quick study in epidemiology and where we pick up the germs that make us sick.

A few interesting entries were a wet load of laundry, women’s purses and playgrounds. It’s definitely quick read.

I’ve got to be honest, the laundry squicked me out completely. I’ve washed my hands after putting stuff IN the laundry because of the fact that I use cloth wipes for diaper changes, but I’ve never washed my hands after the transfer to the dryer. I never would have even imagined that one. The playground makes sense, even the purse does, but the laundry was possibly the biggest shock to me.

I wonder if I can use this as an excuse to not do laundry any more. Hmmm.
