Get Cool For A Cause With Virtual Lemonade

I’m always interested in ways to combine supporting a good cause with a little bit of fun. Electrolux and Kelly Ripa are working together to promote awareness and raise money for The Ovarian Cancer Research Fund (OCRF) with virtual lemonade stands at Kelly Confidential. Is there any more iconic drink of summer than lemonade? Even though you can’t taste the deliciousness through your computer screen, you’re helping raise to raise money by participating. Plus, look at how cute the stand and little glasses of lemonade are!

For every stand opened, Electrolux will donate $1 to OCRF as part of its $500,000 commitment to help fight ovarian cancer. When you promote your stand and sell virtual glasses of lemonade (I’m currently selling Rosemary Watermelon Lemonade, Citrus Lemonade and Sparkling Ginger Lemonade) to your friends and family, 100% of the proceeds will also go to OCRF.

To help spread the word and reach their goal, Electrolux has also donated a newly released French Door Refrigerator with a Perfect Temp Drawer™ as a prize!

When you open a stand, and every day you log on and visit your stand, you are entered to win. People who visit your stand will also have a chance to win the refrigerator.
