I’m taking today off to move. Unlike most cats, my cat adores exploring new territory after a move. It should be fun as long as we keep him out of trouble!

The Doggy Blog – This cute blog about all things dog started about the same time as The Kitty Blog. Chloe will guide you through the canine world. Right now, she’s talking about icy winter dog walks. Oh, no. That brings back bad memories of when I fell in the ice walking dogs at a kennel. Ouch.
The Food Bowl – Heather keeps house at this “place for pets and their people.” She discusses dogs, cats, fish, ferrets, horses, sugar gliders and more! Check out her Top Ten Cat and Dog Names of 2008.
Couture Critters – Gayla is the host at this new blog that explores the latest fashion and accessories for doggies and kitties. Visit Mrs. Claws Christmas Skirt for Your Miss Kitty! Really cute, but I have a boy cat.

Hi Peggy! Can’t wait to read about kitties. Did want to let you know that your RSS feed somehow connects to the “Inside b5″ blog. Even if I manually enter http://www.thekittyblog.com/feed into Google Reader, it subscribes me to the internal b5 blog. Weird.
Peggy – We have a pet topic going on a non-pet b5 blog and would welcome your opinion on chain pet stores like Petland.
Some claim Petland supports puppy mills and bad breeders; Petland claims they are the part of the solution, not the problem.
