Getting Boomerang Kids out of the house
Just as some people are beginning to embrace the whole “Empty Nest” thing with all the kids out of the house, they are faced with adult children returning home to live after college or after financial woes.
These returnees are often called “Boomerang Kids”.
While many parents want to welcome their kids home and provide assistance where applicable, there comes a time when it’s time for them to move out again, this time for good. Yet sometimes they don’t see it the same way.
What’s a parent to do? I don’t know, I don’t have personal experience with it. As a matter of fact, I have a teen who needs to stay home more rather than leave.
