Getting caught “doing it” by the kids

Over at MomLogic, they were talking about what to do if your child ever walks in on you and your spouse, er, gettin’ it on. It made me giggle, but I can only laugh because luckily it’s never happened to me before.

However, the basic advice over there is to avoid panicking to explain that what you’re doing is private but not anything negative, give it some time so that things cool off to avoid embarrassing your child (especially if he or she is old enough to know damn well that you weren’t just “hugging”) and return things to normal, and to plan ahead by locking your door and making sure that your little ones are asleep or well occupied.

Have you ever had any of your kids walk in on you? How did you handle it?
