Getting started with working from home

A couple of things I hadn’t considered that need to be addressed in a plan to work remotely from home: How will you resolve IT problems? What are you going to do if an in-house meeting comes up on a day that you’re at home?

And, if you work for the U.S. Government, ask about working from home, the law says telecommuting must be offered to many employees.

    Great article.

    The bit about shutting down the office for the day particularly stuck a chord with me – it’s just too easy to check email on my way to bed and end up working for an hour! Doh! :)
