Gifted Memories’s Guest Designer Call

Here’s another pub call for those who wants to be part of Scrapbook Design Team.

Gifted Memories is looking for a few good scrappers! If you have ever wanted to be a professional designer, this is one heck of an opportunity. The kit that you design will be sold at conventions across the country and in the Gifted Memories store (if it does not sell out at the convention). You will receive 100% designer credit and 10% of all proceeds of the sale of your kit!

Gifted Memories prides itself on selling kits that are not mass produced. All of our kits are limited editions and made 10 (or less) at a time. Our designers make the pages and the kits are produced from those pages and than hand assembled.

It is easy to apply, all you have to do is ……..

1. Either email me (sjamison8@sc.rr.com with Guest Kit Designer as the subject line) a photo of one of your favorite scrapbook pages that you have created recently or post a link to the page in the comments section of this blog. It does not have to be a new page created just for this contest, we just want to take a look at your style and your work. Submissions will be judged on creativity and originality, design concept and composition. If you are selected, you will be notified via email. After notifying you, we will announce the selection on this blog, on the store blog, in the newsletter and in the store.

Once you are selected ……..

1. We will send you a kit to produce the page example from (and that is where the hard work comes in for you.)
2. You list all materials, tools, techniques and dimensions that you used to create your page
3. Send us the page in the mail within 7 days of receiving your kit (we pay postage)
4. Email us the directions, photo of the page and tools list within 7 days of receiving your kit

Once we receive your emailed information we will……….

1. Cut and package the kit with you listed as the designer directly under the Title (your blog or gallery address will be include beneath your name)
2. Email you a photo of your packaged kit
3. Sell it at the convention first and any remaining kits in the store
4. Send you a check for 10% of all proceeds of your kit sales

Admission Deadline: April 26th
Designer Selection Dates:

Designer 1 – April 13th (submit by midnight April 12th)

Designer 2 – April 20th (submit by midnight April 19th)

Designer 3 – April 27th (submit by midnight April 26th)

*We do not restrict our designers by requiring that they create using only certain topics but we will give you a list of suggested titles if you wish to follow them. We also will not under any circumstances release a kit that is pornographic or promotes any illegal or hate based topic. We reserve the right to make adjustments to the pages for ease of reproduction. *
