Girl Scouts on MySpace

TrefoilsIn an effort to show that it is in touch with the social networking that today’s tweens and teens are using, Girl Scouts of America has set up a MySpace page for it’s ever popular cookie. Yep, the cookie has its own MySpace page – complete with a blog, a poll of your favorite cookies, and it even has 189 “friends” already.

They have also launched some new ads – and some nostalgic ads from the 1970’s (back when I was a Girl Scout). You can see some more of them at AdFreak.com.

I was a Girl Scout and I remember selling Girl Scout cookies year after year. My daughter is in her last year of Brownies before she moves up, and she is having fun selling cookies right now. As a matter of fact, she had me working on her vest this morning.
