Although, sometimes those are good too. @Maricar - ah yes, I'm pretty sure you have some offbeat blood in you. Perhaps this reflects our backgrounds as teachers. We don't simply read to children in the classroom. We tie the books in with topics they're learning and often try to find activities to go along with them. As an author, I try to do this, too, when I visit classrooms. Thanks for the input, Jennifer.
