Giveaway: Air-Porter Makes Toting Luggage Easy

January 11, 2009 by Mary Jo Manzanares

If you’re loaded down with luggage, juggling a car seat, multiple bags, sporting equipment, laptop case, and a briefcase, you’ve no doubt dropped a few items.  Probably dropped many items, many times.

The Air-Porter allows you to keep all those items from shifting about, getting your from your car to check in, and even to the departure gate, using one hand for your bags and keeping the other hand free.

This system of bungee straps is adjustable and fits on any roller suit case, whether it’s a large checked bag or a small carry on.  Starting with your largest bag, you put on the adjustable Air-Porter to piggy-back items on that largest bag.  It’s designed to keep stacked items stable, and to distribute the weight so that it’s easy to roll.  The straps are lightweight, so once you’ve finished using them, they’ll easily toss in your carry on bag for use at the other end of your journey.

And perhaps best of all, you don’t have to be an engineer to figure out how to use the Air-Porter.  It’s just a series of four buckles that are easily clasped.

This is perfect for parents traveling with a car seat along with other bags.  You can take everything you need in one hand, and have your child’s hand in the other.

You can order the Air-Porter online for $75.  Additional bungees are $10.

We are giving away an Air-Porter to a Travel Product Guide reader.

All you need to do to enter is to leave a comment here on the blog answering this question:

How would the Air-Porter come in handy for you?

You will be automatically entered into the giveaway drawing with your comment. One random winner will be selected to receive the Air-Porter.

The contest runs through Friday, January 16th, 2009 at 11:59pm PT. Please only enter once and leave your email address in the appropriate spot so that we can contact you.

A very big thanks to the folks at Air-Porter for generously providing this giveaway to a reader.

When I’m pulling my luggage through the airport and back and forth the the car, my bags are contantly falling over; my carryon bag flops around on the handle of my roll-around bag. The Air Porter would allow me to attach my bags and finally be able to carry my laptop too without dropping bags all around me.
