Giveaway – Celebrity Arthur Book from Speakaboos
Speakaboos, is a brand new site that brings classic children’s entertainment to the digital world. It also gives teachers and parents worksheets, study guides, and arts and crafts…for all of those educational literacy lessons.
And who reads those digital stories? Celebrities, of course!
The site debuted in beta, and already offers over 35 titles with audio provided by talented actors and musicians such as Kevin Bacon, Nick Cannon, Kelly Ripa, Kerry Washington, Marcia Gay Harden, Harry Shearer and Chazz Palminteri.
The titles, including Arthur, Goldilocks, The Ugly Duckling, Old McDonald and Aesop’s Fables are available for immediate viewing online for free, and can also be downloaded for offline viewing and on portable media devices, with at least fifteen percent of revenue contributed directly to the National Education Association (NEA) to support children’s literacy and The Creative Coalition (TCC).
“Our aim is to reinvigorate the art of storytelling by combining the traditional reading experience with technology and entertainment,” said Noelle Millholt, Associate Publisher of Speakaboos. “We’ve seen a very passionate response from celebrities who are readily willing to participate, and we’re thrilled to be able to back our commitment to education by providing a portion of the proceeds from every title to the National Education Association and The Creative Coalition.”
So, because Speakaboos is all about reading they want to GIVE YOU their CELEBRITY Arthur book.
Arthur’s adventures are brought to life by your favorite celebrities. Celebrity readers Clay Aiken, Tom Arnold, Kevin Bacon, Marc Brown (author), Daisy Fuentes, Marcia Gay Harden, Cheri Oteri, Jeff Probst and Kelly Ripa deliver amusing performances.
Stories for Heroes is a unique series of children’s products published in partnership with top children’s authors such as Arthur creator Marc Brown and celebrity readers such as Clay Aiken and Kelly Ripa.
