Stay safe during those early morning and evening treks through the city streets or while hiking and biking on adventure trips with illumiNITE apparel. illumiNITE makes a full line of technical outdoor apparel and accessories with the additional benefit of silhouette reflectivity built right into the garments.
Unlike strips and trims, illumiNITE’s patented retro reflective technology helps motorists easily recognize the distinctive human shape of early morning or evening walkers, runners and cyclists. The line includes jackets, vests, tops, bottoms, caps and gloves for men and women.

Today we are giving a jacket and hat from illumiNITE to TWO readers.
Additionally, the two winners will receive a pair of Sable WaterOptics swim goggles. They are perfect for those who love swimming and other water sports.

Known for their clarity and comfort, Sable WaterOptics goggles were named best overall goggles by the New York Times in November 2007. They are recommended by many eye doctors and swimming professionals. Sable WaterOptics also made the O List in Oprah Magazine earlier this year.
Each prize package includes a hat, jacket, protective case, headlamp and a pair of goggles. That’s over $200 worth of prizes to each winner!
Winning is easy. All you need to do to enter is to leave a comment here on the blog about your favorite place to run, hike, bike or swim.
You will be automatically entered into the giveaway drawing with your comment. TWO random winners will be selected from all the commenters to receive the prize packages.
The contest runs through tonight, Friday, December 19, 2008 at 11:59pm PT. Please only enter once and leave your email address in the appropriate spot so that we can contact you.
Thanks to illumiNITE and Sable WaterOptics for sponsoring the giveaway.
The color and style of the jacket and goggles awarded are not guaranteed to be the exact ones that are pictured here.
Check back tomorrow for the winner of this giveaway, and to see what great gift Mary Jo has for Saturday. Remember, we’ll be giving away a travel gift each day right up until Christmas.
