I’m hoping that I can give my mother this gift set. My mom has always been there for me and I know I have given her many headaches. Two years ago my mother and father finally took a vacation(The falls) a day and half drive from were we live. I was involved in a accident while they were on vacation. I was hit by an uninsured drunk driver and had to have my left leg amputated at the age of 35, I didn’t want my mom to find out until their vacation was over. That didn’t happen, my mom was notified and they drove straight home not knowing if I was going to live or die. I still feel bad to this day that my mother had to cut their vacation short. I know it didn’t matter to her. I knew she would be there for me.

I’m not yet a mom, but I will tell you that my favorite Mother’s Day memory is when my brother and I saved up our money to buy our mom a Dairy Queen ice cream cake…we were so proud of ourselves…although, looking back, she probably would have rather we had made something for her, you know?
