As you know, I adore quilting. I have a beautiful one in blues on my hoop now and I just found out that my husband’s niece is expecting her first child so I get to make a baby quilt! Baby quilts are so much fun to design. :-)

i am a new quilter and just finishing up my first one. I have enjoyed it so much that I can’t wait to start another one. I have no one in my family that quilts so I have been gathering help from my friends and friends of friends to help me with the technical part of quilting. Thanks for your give a way!

I have been quilting for over 20 years and it is my sanity, my vice and something I can’t imagine not being a part of my life.

Hello, My mother-in-law can quilt, but hasn’t had/
made the time to make quilting a constant in her life! I also have a friend who lives and breathes quilting. She recently found a lovely quilt at a yard sale that is in great shape for $40.00. Please enter me in your wonderful drawing. Happy Holidays!

Quilting-I always seem to be running behind. I just finished piecing a king-sized quilt that is supposed to be a Christmas gift. Obviously not going to have it quilted by Thursday!

  8. betsy says:

Please include me in the drawing.
    I quilt everyday.
Before I head off to work, I am a teacher, I hand quilt my hexagon quilt for about 30 minutes every morning. It is my relax time before heading off to a hectic day.
In the evening if time allows I work on any project that needs to be worked on and I end my evening hand stitching again. It is by far my favorite.

my husband’s grandmother has been teaching me to quilt and i would love any extra insight. it is a very relaxing hobby and with 2 kids under 3 relaxation is rare:) thanks for the chance:)

  10. Samantha R says:

We got 3 beautiful quilts for our wedding. Someday I want to make a nice one too, but for now, I have only tied quilts – I have made 2 t-shirt quilts out of my high school shirts and one quilt top that is ready to be tied out of courdory scraps from my husband’s late grandmother.

  11. Stacie says:

Both my mother and sister make quilts and they are so beautiful. My mother made my daughter a quilt when she was born and I still have it displayed in her bedroom (she’s now 10). I know they would love to win this.

  12. Baba says:

  15. Anne says:

My grandmother was a quilter and I think its time for me to take it up so I can pass the skill down to other family members!

    Thanks

  16. My grandmother made quilts but I was too young to remember anything about how she did it and my mother never took up the art so I have no idea how to do this but have REALLY wanting to learn. I’m dying to try it but, it just looks too complicated! I’m trying to find a book or online resource to help simplify it for me!

  17. Kathy Blackwelder says:

My 82 year old mother is a quilter and recently made quilts for both my daughters for Christmas. When I asked them which Christmas presents they liked the most both replied “Nanna’s quilt”! I was thrilled as these quilts can be pass down to their grandchildren.

  18. shar says:

Love love quilts, my aunts do this and the quilts are lovely keepsakes
