Earlier this week, we conducted a giveaway offering the Ovarian Cancer Awareness bracelet from Angela Moore. With the Ovarian Cancer Awareness Collection, 15% of the net proceeds are donated to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund all year long. Thanks to everyone who participated.
The winner is Kristy, who commented:
Healthy tips- try to walk as much as possible, drink water when you can, and find little ways to enjoy life… it doesn’t have to be stressful

And now, we are giving you a chance to win another piece from the collection — the Angela Moore Ovarian Cancer Awareness pendant. To enter the giveaway, just leave a comment on this post and tell us about your favorite piece of jewelry.
Your comment automatically enters you into the contest, which runs through Friday, September 18, 2009 at 11:59pm ET. We will select one random winner from all the entrants to receive the pendant.
The Ovarian Cancer Research Fund funds research to find a method of early detection and ultimately a cure for ovarian cancer. To learn more about ovarian cancer, please visit OCRF.org.
Look for more related information and giveaways all month long, as September is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month.
Thanks to Angela Moore for sponsoring the contest.

My favourite piece of jewelry is a silver rose that my daughter made for me. She used to draw them for me when she was little and now that she is a jewellry designer, she made me one out of silver!

I have several pieces of jewelry that are very special to me and wear them with great memories. A handmade diamond bracelet that my mother and I designed, a large sunburst rhinestone pin from my Aunt Ruth, and an antique silver filigree pinkie ring from my great great grandmother and a “gambling watch” from my Aunt Betty. These people are passed on and their memories keep me warm and fuzzy.
My favorite piece is a gold bracelet my mother gave to me when I had my daughter. We hope to pass it down for generations to come.
My birthstone ring I got when I was young!!
My favorite piece is a turquoise ring.
my fave piece of jewelry is a ring my husband gave me on our one year anniversary of meeting. it’s not worth any money, but it’s priceless to me.
My favorite piece of jewelry (besides the obvious which is my engagement/wedding rings) is a tiny small gold oval locket that used to belong to my grandmother. It is nothing fancy, but I adore it and treasure it because it belonged to her, she wore it all the time and it carries so much significance behind it. Long story short, my grandmother was wearing it when she arrived in America when she was around 18 years old alone, on a boat, all by herself and she landed on Ellis Island with nothing with her but the clothes on her back and this necklace. For real! It sounds unbelievable, but she fled her home in Greece when the Turks invaded Greece! Okay, I won’t go into the details, but you now understand why I cherish it so much!
My fave is a gold necklace.
My favorite piece of jewelry is a keepsake too tiny to wear. It is a silver filigree bracelet given to my mother when she was seven, and the only jewelry she had throughout her childhood. It is small, but an immeasurable treasure to me.
