Giving Fun To Recycling

Most people would think of recycling as something really boring but if such an activity has been made with the kind of flair that the Christopher Newport University and TFC Recycling has done, then you surely would be more than happy to do it yourself.
You see, what the school did was so as to make more people aware of their recycling program, they had a grand recycling festival which started last January 29th and ended on the 2nd of February.
The whole week intended for the festival was a complete success. Organizations and groups were able to spread out the news about recycling and how to do it right. There were also interesting events like the sculpture making competition wherein contestants had to create something out of recyclable materials.
Katie Murray, the president of the school’s Ecology Club, expresses, “This is so exciting, not only for those of us who have been relentless in our pursuit to recycle on the CNU campus since we arrive but for the entire CNU community.”
Kudos CNU!

That’s just brilliant! I know a lot of people just aren’t confident about recycling or consider it to be too inconvenient. Hopefully the festival will make it easier for families to get involved.
It’s always inspiring to see that ordinary people take the initiative to launch an event like this.
Yeah. I hope these people bring the recycling effort back to their homes and influence their small kids to participate and create a recycling culture.
