General Motors is one of the most trusted and most well-known car manufacturers not only in the United States but in the entire world. It has been doing its share to help our environment be clean and to go green, it has already gone through with the production of green vehicles. But that is not only what General Motors has done.
In recent news, GM has already announced that it would be pushing with installing solar panels on one of its facilities. How many solar panels? 8,700 pieces. What facility? Its White March plant that works on transmissions. The famous car manufacturer has also disclosed that such a project has been made easier with its partnership with SunEdison, a company based in Beltsville and which is currently the largest source of services dealing with solar energy in North America.
Estimates have it that the project would help GM save much on energy bills for those solar panels could generate power that would already light up 150 households.
