Got Pot?

In case you missed it when I first announced that medicinal marijuana is available to purchase through vending machines. Here is an excerpt that originally aired on CNN via YouTube. I just have one question. Why are they choosing to do this in California? Wouldn’t certain areas of Canada be a better place to try this out. Perhaps in my hometown?????

I wonder how safe that will be. I can see someone trying to get their medicine and someone else staking out the vending machine. ACK! I knew a woman with lupus who used marijuana for pain. I couldn’t do it. From previous experience, it makes me very tired.

And… no, thank God, I don’t
A few years ago I knew a lady who had to take THC in pill form to give her an appetite. She had full-blown aids and was in wasting syndrome. She was also a recovering drug addict!
Jensina,
Mark is correct – security guards are provided.
I am not a pot smoker, but I think I would consider that route before taking another pill to help me sleep. It is more natural.
Mark,
me neither
that’s interesting about giving pot to a recovering drug addict. Makes me think.
What surprises me about this whole thing is that you can get up to an ounce a week. Correct me if I am wrong, but isn’t that a whole lot????
Someone has to be in a tremendous amount of pain to get that much every week. Do they not?

Question: Tired enough to fall asleep??? (if so, those of us with insomnia may be on to something here)
Rhetorical Question: If a pothead falls asleep while macrameing, does anyone end up with an owl doily for their wall??? (or is that crocheting? I can never remember the difference)
PS: Bin Laden is still alive…he has just developed a severe case of CFS and cannot get out of his cave.
Rex,
while I am not one who experiments with things like pot. I have wondered if taking it would help with my sleep issues, especially since insomnia is a big part of my life.
For your rhetorical question-I believe a lot of knitters read this blog-perhaps they can answer you.
I didn’t hear about Bin Laden-however, I did hear that Fidel Castro is living with CFS-and he isn’t doing too well right now.
Anyone have anything to say to the comments provided by REX?
