Green Bean’s Red Lamp

Red Clock Lamp

The posts for the rest of this week will be skewed a bit.  There are several reasons for this change: 1) Tomorrow’s post is a group sort of post related to b5media and we are all doing list posts, which fit better with a “grab bag” post than with a “how-to” post, 2) I have a heavy load of stuff (coursework, papers to grade, etc) that would make it better for me to switch things around, and 3) variety is good.

So, the schedule for the next couple of days will be: Today=Weekend Web-Page, Friday=Thursday Grab-Bag, and Saturday=Friday How-To.  (Yes, Thursday is now Saturday, Friday is Thursday, and Saturday has become Friday…just to clear things up…)

Now, back to the “Weekend Web Page.”

This post comes from the Green Bean Workshop blog, the specific post is titled, “My Latest Lamp” posted by “Green Bean Workshop.” (The picture comes from there, too.)

I admire the ingenuity that created this lamp!  I just hope that he doesn’t get annoyed at his real alarm clock and toss this one across the room!

Also, he mentions that he painted it the red color to hide the old color.  Having seen the old color on his post, I’d say it was a smart move!
