Growing Up
I hadn’t thought about this in years, but then suddenly it all came back to me. It’s the age when you can’t wait to be that one year older. Like… I’m twelve and a half. And in Jackson’s case… “I’m four and a half.” Funny how it means so much to grab those few extra months so that you can be all grown up.
Me, I’m sticking with thirty-nine (cough, cough) for a few years more. I did just that for about ten years after I passed twenty-nine and the kids didn’t catch on for years until it finally twigged that I had been twenty-nine for an awfully long time. My kids are used to it by now lol… so they don’t even blink.
Go and take a look at what Jackson thinks about this growing up stuff. He’s awfully mature for his age lol…
