Guest Post at Glam Nest

I just wanted to give all of you a heads up about a guest post I did over at Glam Nest. It is called 10 Tips to Declutter Your Life.

Glam Nest  is part of the Glam network and it is written by Erika Lenkert, who is so nice and seems like the type of gal I would enjoy getting to know over a cup of coffee and a slice of cheesecake. Her guilty pleasure is french fries, mine – cheesecake. :)

If you aren’t familiar with her blog then you are missing out my friend. She has a little bit of everything from home decor, cooking and parenting to parties, entertaining and cocktails. Yes, it is a fun place to be!

Thank you Erika for the chance to guest blog. I’ll be back. ;)

  1. Hi Julie:

First, a HUGE thank you for the fantastic post on my blog. Because of your inspiration my desk is actually cleared off! Second, many thanks for the kind words. You also seem wonderful and I would gladly forgo French fries for an hour of cheesecake and conversation!

My thoughts are with you this weekend as you take on six kids in the house. I, too, will be spending part of the next couple of days wiping greasy handprints off of my sliding glass doors.

My daughter’s second birthday is tomorrow and for some reason I felt compelled to invite all of her friends and their parents over for cake and other foods that allow you to leave long, greasy fingerpainted steaks all over our stuff–even though she couldn’t care less.

I’m in the process of making a butterfly shape cake (with lots of greasy-hand-inducing butter) and will post the results next week–unless I follow your lead and attempt to stay in bed and recuperate.

    Hang in there!

@Erika – You are very welcome. I survived the weekend of kids. Although my eyes are still burning right now from being tired. Need.more.coffee.

Birthday parties are a lot of work aren’t they? I hope your cake turned out great. I love butterflies! Can’t wait to see a picture.
