I’ve pinched this directly off Cyndi at Layers Upon Layers. There’s no way I could just leave it there and not share this terrific journal clasp idea. Nate True invented this and has successfully used his unusual journal clasp for a few years. There are heaps of photos of the clasp in action, also a video on Nate’s blog.

O…M…G! That is just so unbelievably cool! You know, now that he has the design all worked out he could produce another one a lot faster than the first one. He could even make a bunch more of them at a time. Considering how cheap the materials are he could assemble quite a few for next to nothing and make a small fortune on selling them. I would definitely invest a little more and make these as a whole product, including the book and pen already, though that’s just me. I wonder if he can slip the book out of it once he’s filled the journal and slip the clasp onto another book. Man I wish I was that crafty. Makes me want to cry I’m not lol.
Lol, yes, I knew there’d be some interest in this one. I love it, too. It’s just such a great idea. Thanks for commenting, Toddmen.
