Handwriting or Graffitti?

Handwriting Without TearsSensible Pencil—we have tried many programs to teach Charlie to write. He practices his letters every day; all the letters tend to become rounded and looping; diagonal lines and letters like V are difficult. Charlie’s OT is teaching him to type and I think this will ultimately prove fruitful.

On the other hand, take a look at some graffitti by medieval monks–with bits of rounded and pointed forms—in Sweden on what might be a yarn spool. I guess the monks needed to practice their ABC’s too before sitting down to copy manuscripts like this.
