Happy Presidents’ Day!

I hope you all have a nice Presidents’ Day holiday. How are you celebrating? Have you done something special with your Alzheimer’s patient? A different menu, or one traditional with your family?
My mom always made a white cake with white frosting. then she decorated it with maraschino cherries. (George chopping down the cherry tree!) We usually had canned cherries (from my grandparents trees) and ate those with cake for dessert.
We’re digging out from an ice storm where I live. So the grandchildren have had the day off from school and I didn’t get called to substitute teach.
To celebrate Presidents’ Day, enjoy a round-up of posts from several of the blogs at b5media. Here are two from the Lifestyles Channel.
Sandy Mitchell at All Holiday Cafe treats us to Happy Presidents’ Day.
Tracee Sioux at Blog Fabulous writes about Shaking Bill Clinton’s Hand.
(Both bloggers referred to my post, Quilts with a Presidents’ Day Theme.)
Over at the Business Channel, Kelly Phillips Erb compiled an interesting post, Happy Presidents’ Day from the Business Channel. She used quotes from our Presidents and links them to the various Business blogs. It’s interesting to see what they’ve had to say over the years.
Check out Woodrow Wilson and you’ll link to Home Biz Notes, which I co-blog with Yvonne Russell.
