Harry Potter Mania
According to the movie poster, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, was scheduled for release today – 07/13/07, but lucky for Harry Potter fans, the US release was Wednesday.
The official Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix web site is packed with games, movie trailers, downloads and more, but three of my favorite sites for kids have even more Harry Potter action!
- KidsReads.com (one of my all time favorite sites for kids who love to read) has a whole section of their site dedicated to the Harry Potter series, including information on the books, trivia, a poll, Harrypedia, Harry’s Spell Book, and plenty of info on J.K. Rowling.
- Scholastic Books has their own version of Harry Potter central. More polls and printables, along with videos and other downloads.
- SurfNetKids has plenty of links to Harry Potter arcade games, picture games, quizzes, and activities.
So, have you seen the movie yet? We haven’t, but I am thinking we may next week. What did you think?
This certainly seems to be the “hot” thing right now. I have a daughter who is going tonight.
Of course…I went
A few of my friends didn’t care for it too much.
They didn’t think it was like the other films in the series.
I, personally, loved it.
I thought it was a little different…no better, no worse…just simply different.
I’d reccomend it…not that it really needs reccomending…its Harry Potter : )
