He could use some Garanimals…

Can you believe that this is what he wore to work today?

No? Oh good, then we don’t come off nearly so nutty as I often suspect.

Bald Man walked into today and actually looked really nice. The colors of the cords and the shirt that he wore looked fantastic together. I told him so. He beamed. He isn’t always so lucky.

In fact, after telling me how he had actually had a different shirt on this morning, and had changed it for the winner he chose, he really wished that he had Garanimals. This is not the first time that he’s mentioned that.

You remember Garanimals, yes? The kids clothes with the animals on them that, when you matched the animals, you were sure that you had a nice co-ordinating outfit? Apparently he loved these. He never has had a natural knack for co-ordination, but he is really good at following the rules….even rules dictated by zebras and tigers.

I think that surely there’d be a market out there for co-ordinating labels for adult clothes. And yes, I know it’s not always the man who can’t tell what does and doesn’t go together, I know there are women out there as well who could use the help of pandas and giraffes on their labels. No, I am not one of them. I don’t always co-ordinate, but that’s often because I just haven’t gotten to the laundry, yet. :P

So, my question to you is, do you stop your spouse from walking out of the house if he/she is in something that majorly clashes? Do you pick out their clothes for them so it’s not a concern? Does it matter to you at all? Or, like me, are you too lazy to get out of bed before they leave and you don’t have a clue until they walk in later, anyway? ;)
