Health and Wellness Fairs

I think the spring weather naturally inspires people to be healthy and as a result I’ve seen an increase in health and wellness fairs across the U.S. these last few weeks. Fairs usually happen in churches (like this one in Michigan), are sponsored through a school or university (like this one in Missouri), or put together with the help of concerned folks in the community (like this fair in New York).
Health fairs are usually free and can give you some great tips on exercise and common conditions. Often blood pressure and diabetes screenings are done at these types of venues. They’re also a nice way to get inspired to eat right and exercise, as the gathering includes people enthusiastic about wellness.
To find a health fair in your area, contact your local community center, library, or newspaper.
