The Heart Chamber Orchestra should be the official music representatives of A Hearty Life. Twelve classical musicians are hooked up to monitors that record their electrocardiograms. A computer takes the pattern of their heartbeats and creates a musical score in real time. As they play the music with their instruments, their heart rates change and influences the ECG’s (or EKG) which then changes the music score that’s being simultaneously composed.
