Heartfelt Help: Donors Choose

I’ve gotten my valentines (and gave a better-than-chocolate-one to my students in the form of “no weekly quiz”). Phoebe passed on a link to Donors Choose—–if you search under the word autism, you’ll come to this page, on which a number of teachers and therapists have posted requests for toys, puzzles, pictures for flashcards and picture schedules, and many more items for use in their classrooms. I’m wishing I had saved a few more of the materials we used for Charlie’s home ABA therapy; I gave away a lot them years ago—-am happy there are plenty of other ways to help other kids like Charlie.

Thanks for the link!
It’s kind of amazing what $10 or $25 can do.
happy Velentine’s day Kristina and Charlie and Jim!
Ooo I obviously went to the wrong bit. I thought they wanted $ not things. I’ll go and check again.
Cheers
I think you can contribute things or $$$$—lots of needs out there.
Here’s some science valentines, including Einstein writing a “heartful” formula on a chalkboard.
Happy Vanlentine’s Day!!!!!
I’ve been donating to Donors Choose for a few years now, through a different website, but I have always managed to find an autism classroom to donate to….and have gotten wonderful photographs and letters in return….”rewarding” doesn’t even begin to describe it!
