My name is Rachel Segal and I’m delighted to be taking over Robust Cooking so I can share some of my favourite recipes, techniques and tools for savoury dishes and balanced living.
For me, being healthy and enjoying food is all about balance. There’s no reason why you have to cut everything out to enjoy a meal! Real ingredients, reasonable portions, and small tweaks to heavy classics can yield amazing results – leaving you satisfied and healthy.
A little bit about me – by day, I run b5media’s content team. By night, I’m usually found in the kitchen trying out a new recipe or around my hometown of Toronto checking out what this cities abundance of incredible restaurants have to offer.

With winter coming up I’ll need TONS of warm food recipes. I’m horrible at cooking, even been known to burn water and explode eggs.
