ajsnow.jpgFor the past three weeks the Chicago area has been bombarded with snow.

and then warmth

and then snow

and then warmth

and then snow.

And I am not just talking about a few flurries here and there. I am talking about inches and feet of wet, heavy, snowman makin’ kind of snow…the snow that as a kid you wanted to bound in and make tunnels.

As an adult? I’m starting to dred shoveling and digging those stinkin’ tunnels for AJ (okay, they are actually kind of fun!). I love watching the snow come down on our picturesque street and my favorite part is taking long walks with the family before they plow the streets. In our neighborhood it makes me think that perhaps we still live in a world quiet enough and nice enough thIt walking in the streets in the middle of a snowstorm is still safe.

Will you be digging out of the 8-12 inches of snow tonight?
