In the United States, the lighting of the Rockefeller Center’s Christmas tree is what symbolizes the start of the Yuletide season. It is a grand event that many people really do wait for each year. Some really do try hard to be there live when the lighting takes place.

Of course, that is not going to be a surprise knowing just how beautiful this Christmas tree looks like.

For this year, Rockefeller has got a tree that measures 72 feet tall and it is a Norway Spruce which had originated from Connecticut. It had been decorated with the best Christmas decorations and the list includes 30,000 LED Christmas lights. So you know what this means. This year’s Rockefeller Christmas tree is really rockin’ because it is not only literally green but is also figuratively green. Yey for the Rockefeller Center!

According to the people behind this green Christmas tree, it is going to be recycled after the season is over. It is going to be used by the Habitat for Humanity. Wow. Nice.
