My legal blogger buddy Kurt knows of my affection for Paula Deen so he kindly forwarded me rental information for Paula Deen’s “Y’all Come Inn” vacation home in Tybee Island, Georgia as a candidate for my next family vacation.

Paula Deen's Y'all Come Inn
For the extremely reasonable rate of $295 a night, you and up to seven of your friends can stay in Paula’s 3 bedroom, 2 ½ bathroom home. The 2,100-square-foot, two-story beach house comes complete with everything you need to prepare any type of meal and is stocked with Paula’s full collection of cookbooks as well as seasonings, spices, dressings and sauces. The home is just a short drive to local restaurants like Uncle Bubba’s Oyster House and The Lady & Son’s restaurant.
Kurt and I were wondering if the freezer was stocked with some of that artery-clogging Krispee Kreme Doughnut (she spells it Donut) Bread Pudding. I doubt it. But if you’re into Paula Deen, you may want to go to Mermaid Cottages Vacation Rentals and book your stay. I think Truman would love to stay at Paula’s house. But for now, we’ll stick with 30-A.

Greetings Jennifer! Thank you for sharing the info about our homes and cottages! If you go to my blog and look under receipes- you’ll see that we feature that “oh so bad for us” Krispy Kreme Bread Pudding at our annual Mermaid Cottage Holiday party! We serve this every year at this party and now that we’re managing Paula’s beach retreat we may need to start sharing this with our guests! Come visit us soon!!!
Hi Diane. You may be on to something – serving that bread pudding to guests may just nab you extra visitors. I’ve never tried it but I’ve been curious. I’m sure if my son had a serving he’d be wired for a month!
