That's Hil's area. I am way upset that they spent that much. The point of HGTV is to make living accessible, or so I thought. The issue here is that how many people will honestly believe that they can go green when it looks so costly. But, I haven't seen the special and I have this secret hope that most of that cost is the car and the land - not the house itself, we'll see. I don’t know about cars so the Hybrid? It's not necessary to spend that much to get a green home in most cases, but if you are going for LEED Gold I've heard that can cost a bit more. But, of course, Platinum is the one that will really cost you. I'm not sure about this Yukon Hybrid thing. I can see how the green budget would bother you.
