HGTV’s Big Backyard Splash Sweepstakes

June 13, 2007 by Julie Bonner

Today is the LAST day to enter HGTV’s Big Backyard Splash Sweepstakes. You can enter for a chance to win $100,000 to create the backyard of your dreams and a trip for 2 to Hawaii. Sounds good to me!

My husband is very good at keeping our backyard organized. Everything has a place and he makes sure the kids put all of their outdoor toys back where they belong when they are done playing outside. Their bikes, scooters, skates, etc. last a lot longer if they are put away and kept safe from the rain or extreme heat.

So head on over to HGTV and good luck! Click here to be taken to their entry page.

Here’s a comment that I accidently deleted but was able to recover from Daniel Sitter of http://ideaseller.typepad.com/about.html:

“Hi Julie, I have found that the most efficient way for me to deal with
many things, including mail, is to be immediate. I open my mail at my
desk, next to my shredder. I pay all of my bills electronically, so I
receive few bills or confirmation receipts. Most of my mail then goes
through my shredder and into the trash as it arrives at my house,
especially those pesty, daily credit card offers.

I print my own postage via a wonderful postage service that I have used
for over three years without any problems. Great time saver! (link is
    on my blog.)

I scan documents and keep little paper. Everything is backed-up with
    double redundancy.

To digress: You did a great job with your blog binder article! Kudos to
    you.”

    Thanks Daniel! :)
