Hilary Clinton stands for a cure

Hilary Clinton appears on the Ellen DeGeneres show today — not that I’m a big Ellen fan, or a Hilary fan for that matter — but you should check it out. It was released to the press today that Hilary is calling for a $300 million boost in annual breast cancer research — on Ellen (which was pre-recorded) she announces that if she is elected, she’ll set as a goal to find a cure for the disease in the next ten years.
Sounds reminiscent of something JFK said in his 1961 speech … and people doubted we’d put a man on the moon, right?
For the record, I’m not affiliated with any political party. But I do like that a presidential hopeful is taking this issue to the forefront.

I saw her talk about this on Ellen this morning. I’m not a Hilary Clinton fan, but I do think *this* is a good idea.
Hope, leave it to a woman to put it on her agenda!
