Home Again, Home Again

After what felt like the longest flight ever I’m finally home again. The little guy and I travelled from the Gold Coast to Sydney then to Perth yesterday. The second flight took over five hours. The head winds made the journey particularly slow. I felt really sorry for the little guy, who cried on descent because of his sore ears, made worse by slight nasal congestion. He fell asleep for the final descent and landing, much to my relief.

I did manage to write a page in my small journal while on the plane, but today I enjoyed sitting in my favourite cafe with a long black coffee and filled three pages. I didn’t bother trying to find my regular journal. I’ve been too lazy to unpack fully yet. There were too many other things to attend to on arriving home last night.

Anyway, the thing is, I’ll be back to my regular routine now I’m home. Look out for some cool journal writing prompts and a contest as soon as I find the best time for it, where you can win one of the lovely journals I now own.
