It's funny, my aunt said the other day "Oh, I just heard on the news that vaccines cause autism and asthma." She also tells us to put vicks vapor rub on our feet if we have a cough... My mom delayed my ASD brothers vaccines (a mixture of fear and procrastination I think...). most of his vaccines were given a couple months to a year late. I'm pretty sure he only received one or two his first year. He's still PDD-NOS though. I had all of my vaccines on time, with thimerosal, and although I'm a bit special I'm not on the spectrum. But I do have asthma though, we'll just forget that I'm the fourth generation on my fathers side to have it and say it's from the vaccines (note sarcasm). My other 2 1/2 y/o brother had his vaccines on a slightly more timely schedule and is pretty typical. Funny how stuff like that works, huh? Have fun at the holidays!
