homemade Christmas gifts

I love making Christmas gifts for people – in fact I end up making more gifts than I buy.  I try and not get too carried away by commercialization & keeping it as home made as possible is my favorite way to do it.  After all, I’m a huge Christmas nut   I’ve grown up with a family that does as much “shopping” in the studio as possible – it’s so much more personal that way.

I think this year I’ll probably end up making about 75% of my gifts (I’m excited to be working on some projects with my DH this year too!)   Not everything is sewn – I do a lot of baking & candy-making as well   I’m also working on using fabric from my stash instead of buying new stuff.  I’ve found fabric in my storage boxes that I don’t remember buying – oops!
