Hotel Valet Helps Organize Your Valuables

At home, I have a bowl where I put my keys, sunglasses, phone, and whatever little extraneous items that I have in my hand when I come in the door. The idea is that I don’t need to search the house looking for these things before running out the door – a HUGE time saver in the morning when I’m trying to get to work on time.
Magellan’s has taken this concept and created a travel version, a folding Travel Tray that you can place on a nightstand, bathroom counter, or dresser. Put all your valuables in it, hotel key, rental car key, personal keys, glasses, jewelry, etc., and you’ll have just one place to look before heading out the door.
The tray comes flat, so it packs easily, and you then assemble it into a tray with four quick snaps. It makes a 8×5x2 inch basket, with a separate compartment for glasses.
If you’re spending multiple nights in a hotel room, keeping items gathered in one place signifies to the housekeeper that they’re valuables, not trash.
If you’re leaving in the morning, placing everything in the tray will help make sure that you don’t leave anything behind when you rush out the door. I’d put my tickets, identification, keys, watch, earrings, glasses, and other odds and end in it.
And if you should ever have to evacuate a hotel room in an emergency, you can just pick up the tray and head out the door.
I call that pretty handy!
The Travel Tray comes is black, olive, and periwinkle, and is available from Magellan’s for $9.95. It would make a great gift for home or on the road.
